The Manigault’s home was destroyed after Hurricane Hugo in 1989. Volunteers rebuilt the home with the Manigaults in 1990 to provide a loving home for parents Louise & Isaac and their five children. Now almost 30 years later, a community effort is needed to replace the old worn out leaking roof. The children have all grown and moved out, and just last year after 60 years of marriage, Isaac passed away from cancer.
Louise spent her working career in healthcare at The Franke Home, Charleston Nursing Center, and caring for individuals in need of hospice. Now, East Cooper Faith Network is leading a campaign to provide some care for this wonderful lady.
East Cooper Faith Network (501c3 charity) will coordinate the repair process which will cost about $7000 in materials and labor. TheMatchingFund.org has graciously agreed to match your donation up to a total of $3500.
